@djweerisky
DJweeRisky, from Scotland. I host two weekly shows. Every Saturday around 9pm GMT we play the very best tracks from the 1990's, and then on Sunday we have the Retro Rewind where focus on the best tracks from the 1980's but also take requests from other decades.
About me
My name is DJweeRISKY and i am based in Central Scotland. I have always had an interest in music since a very young age, especially any form of dance music, evolving into a love of hardcore and hard trance during my teens. I started DJing when i was a mere 18 years old in what now feels like an eternity ago in 1992 (you do the maths lol). In a time when vinyl still ruled in every club and bar across the country. I got started after I blagged a phone call with a local agent, convinced him to give me a shot and the rest as they say is history. I spent many happy years playing in venues all across Scotland and a few other places as well. I have held down several residences over the years and worked with many different agents and promoters and built a small following of fans who would come out and see me play out on a weekly basis (in the days before social media). I always moved with the times after learning my craft on vinyl, then moving to cd's and now on to using digital controllers but my ethos always stayed the same...."just play good music", my musical tastes have evolved over the years to where I am now....Trance. I hate to pigeon hole myself as i have a very varied taste in what i listen to, everything from Beethoven to Bon Jovi, Tchaikovsky to Tiesto and everything in between. Simply put, if I like it, I will play it. But you will find most of my sets are Trance these days. Unfortunately I had to retire from gigging about 10 years ago due to ill health and although I miss playing out to audiences of all different sizes I could not turn my back on what I love doing. So here I am, live streaming, so come in, say hi and enjoy the ride...
