We started streaming from our nestingbox in spring 2022. Now, we`re streaming our nestingboxes 24/7. Outside nestingseason we stream birdfeeder and aurora. The big feeder was launched february 2024, it can hold about 30 kg of bird grade nuts, and 20 kg of sunflowerseeds.

28/3-26: PTZ-kam is up again. The new feeder is working out well. Time to get ready for nesting-season soon.
13/9-25: Adjusted both aurora-cams for the season. Let hope we get alot of aurora! Also, costruction of the new feedingstation is on it way.
1/6-25: Not able to confirm the number of great tit chicks, they are very hard to count. 9 out of 10 eggs hatched. The pied flycatcher has laid 5 eggs so far.
21/4-25: A great tit has started to build a nest!
23/3-25: Post-lightning report: 1 server, 2 cameras, 1 router and 3 switches destroyed by lightningstrike some 400 meters away on tuesday the 18th. Totalt disaster... Still up and running with what is left, but may have to scale down because of lost equipment.
28/9.24: Testing a new aurora-camera, an Axis P3267-LVE. Installed a camera showing the ground in front of the big feeder. Often alot of birds there. Different views can now be redeemed with channel-points.
26/5-24: Nestingbox number 2 mounted. Maybe we get lucky in this one too!
25/5-24: The pied flycatchers started building their nest today!
7/4-24: New command !setup gives you a schematic overview of my streaming setup. Construction of new nesting box is on it`s way. Have to order a new camera for it.
17/2-24: The new feeder was launched today! Changed some cameraangles and layouts in OBS too.
9/2-24: Costruction of the new feeder is almost done. Today I`ve started painting some of the parts. Hopefully it will be ready next weekend.
12/1-24: We experienced a lightning strike about a week before christmas. It broke our internet-antenna, 2 switches and a POE-injector. We will also be removing 2 cameras that are seldom used: the thermal camera, and the PTZ overlooking the fjord. We hope to sell these, and invest in new cameras.
14/10: Mounted a small roof on the station. And we have a new camera: The aurora-cam! Showing the nightsky to the north-west.
18/6: Still no birds in the nestingbox. New camera!: Axis Q1921-E 19mm thermal camera.
30/5: Removed the sound-redeems for channel points as they rarely worked for some reason. Will be back later.
24/5: PTZ now switches automaticly between feeder and nestingbox when controlcommands !o and !nb are used.
11/5: OBS now switches automaticly to the internal camera in the nestingbox if movement is detected.
1/5: Added channelpoints. Changed panel-graphics.
30/4: Mounted the nestingbox with two internal cameras. Temporary placed at the feedingstation. The box will be mover further into the forest for better protection against sunlight.
10/4: Sorry for no updates here. View-camera is working fine. Saw the brambling for the first time this spring.
03/01: New camera has arrived. Will probably try to get it installed this weekend.
28/12: New camera ordered. Expect it to be up and running early next year :)
10/12: The closeup-cam is broken :( Didn`t seem to like the cold. Filled the left container with 10 kg of bird-grade peanuts, put up three half coconuts with fat, and a snowman for decoration.
7/11: Removed the old and built a new feedingstation during the weekend. Also replaced the 8-port switch with a 5-port gigabit switch giving us the neccesary bandwidth to re-install the feedercamera with sound.
9/10: Mounted the PTZ and M3075-L during the weekend. We now have closeup and sound.
25/9: Have been streaming our new birdfeeder for a week. Have had trouble with magpies making a mess, so had to change the design of the feeder to stop them. Great tit, coal tit and squirrel are the most common guests.
27/6: Having technical issues with the internal camera. The video stops, and the camera has to be rebooted. Earlier I just needed to restart the stream in OBS, so it has gotten worse. No solution for it as of now.
23/6: Made affiliate today.
21/6: Alle 5 eggene ble klekt i dag morrest! All 5 eggs hatched this morming!
6/6: Vi har nå 5 ubekreftede egg, og rugingen ser ut til å ha startet!
