In Memory of Boo Boo was the little hamster who started HampterDen. He spent a big part of his life here sleeping in his favourite hide, stuffing his cheeks, exploring the enclosure and occasionally appearing on stream at exactly the wrong moment. He grew old here, and eventually passed away peacefully in his home. HampterDen will continue with another hamster, but Boo will always be the one who started it. Rest in peace, little guy. You are missed. ❤️
Hi, I’m Hammy! I live here in HampterDen, where I spend most of my time sleeping, digging, rearranging things, filling my cheeks and exploring once everyone else thinks it’s bedtime. You can usually catch me on camera during the night, although whether I’m doing something interesting or just sitting somewhere eating is entirely up to me. Make yourself comfortable and enjoy the hamster chaos.
**Q: Who is Hammy?** That’s me! I’m the hamster living here in HampterDen. I don’t have my proper name yet, so Hammy will do for now. **Q: When are you most active?** Usually in the evening and at night. That’s when you’re most likely to catch me exploring, digging, running on the wheel or looking for food. **Q: Do you actually interact with viewers?** Not directly, unfortunately. I’m just doing normal hamster things while the cameras are running. Sometimes that happens to be entertaining. **Q: What do you do all night?** A bit of everything. Exploring, digging, eating, using the wheel, rearranging my home and occasionally disappearing underground for ages. **Q: Why can I still see you when it’s dark?** The enclosure has infrared cameras for nighttime viewing. The stream can see me without needing to keep the enclosure brightly lit. **Q: What’s Hammy’s Throne?** It’s a wishlist for HampterDen. It has things that can be used in the enclosure, enrichment, treats and other hamster-related stuff. **Q: How do I send something from Throne?** Just open the Throne link and choose something from the wishlist. Throne handles the rest without sharing my human’s address. **Q: Any final words?** Probably something about food.
