Aquaponic garden
I also re-use all my aquarium waste water and feed it to my garden. i have an all organic fruit, vegetable, herb, and cannabis garden. i feed these plants my waste water when i do water changes. this waste water isn't waste at all, it's truly liquid gold. it feeds all plants everything they need. the system is a great sustainable eco system. i end up feeding the fish zucchini and peas and all sorts of garden vegetables that they love, and in turn their waste feeds all the plants again. they are predator fish tho, so they mainly will get protein rich fish foods. but this is a great way to have a fully sustainable ecosystem you can eat from all summer and fall!
Aquarium Schedule
Main lights: 10am - 8pm pst supplementary lights: 8am - 10pm pst feeding: 10am & 6pm pst daily WORM WEDNESDAYS - on wednesdays we get our favorite treat, blood worms! water changes every 10 days during lights off at night, i just run a vod of the day again until 8am when the supplementary lights turn back on.

Electric Blue Acara
electric blue acara are a fresh water tropical fish native to central and south America. they are not found as vibrant in the wild, and are selectively bred to bring out nicer colours.
Angelfish
Angelfish are another type of fresh water tropical fish, specifically cichlid. they hail from South America and are one of my favorite fish since childhood.
Polar Parrot Convict
mostly living in the 85 gallon tank. these tropical fresh water fish are native to Central America. but are actually a hybrid of two types of cichlids, and were created in Taiwan! all of this species that i own were bred by me, and have fully grown up in a tank together since birth. i started with 2 and now have way too many, and there more on the way because they're always breeding!
Jullii Corydora
Corydoras are another type of fresh water catfish on the smaller side. they range from 2 to 4 inches full grown, but are not typical algae eaters like most other catfish. they mainly eat regular types of fish food and are great for cleaning up excess foods on the bottom of the tank.
Serpae Tetra
Serpae Tetra are another type of fresh water tropical fish from south america. they love to school up in bigger schools and are very playful and a bit nippy.
White Skirt Tetra
White Skirt Tetra are another form of fresh water tropical tetra from South America. they're almost see-through and have a funny personality.
Nerite Snail
Nerite snails are another type of fresh water snail that are compatible with most other snails and fish. they truly should be named the mystery snail because these guys are absolutely amazing at hiding in your tank.
Mystery Snail
mystery snails are a great fresh water snail. they're very active and are extremely good at cleaning the tank! they primarily eat mulm and algae but also are really good at eating dead plant leaves but leaving the live ones alone! most snails love fresh plant matter but these guys do not. they also enjoy a nice chunk of zucchini or cucumber and spinach! an absolutely fun addition to fresh water tanks.
Leopard pleco
Plecostomus are a type of nocturnal algae eating catfish that grow to be up to 18 inches in length! 1 in my 85 gallon tank: i have a 13 year old plecostomus that is 16 inches in length. he mostly hides under the big rock center right of frame. but comes out from time to time to absolutely destroy my beautiful aqua scaping hahaha! i love him to death though. 1 in my 55 gallon tank: i have a 6 month old, 4 inch long leopard pleco in my other tank. he's just a baby and is so cute and has a beautiful leopard print pattern. he will eventually be that same size as my big boy in a couple of years.
Otosinclus
another type of algae eating catfish. but these guys are on the other end of the spectrum. they are tiny! and grow up to maybe 2 inches long. they primarily eat algae and love to school up and hanging out on the glass and logs.
