Hi! I'm Kass! I love music, movement, nature, exploration of human potential and seeking joy and play as a daily practice. As a kid, I spent all of my free time making dance music mixtape cassettes off the radio and drawing pictures in my sketchbook. In 2013, I went to my first ecstatic dance while on vacation in Hawaii - 3 weeks after a car accident that sent whiplash pain into my lower back. Allowing my body to be moved by music helped me finally get relief from the pain that no medications could touch. In 2022, I rediscovered house music through dance fitness and being in the right place at the right time, and a few months later, a monthly ecstatic dance event formed in my hometown. I was taught the basics in 2023, with sporadic opportunities to practice what I had learned. In January 2024, I bought my first controller as a birthday present to myself, and started making random mixes every couple weeks. In August 2024, I watched an interview about a female DJ who got her start on Twitch. Within days, I started streaming here on Twitch with only the intention of building up my confidence as a DJ in order to eventually perform live. Being here on Twitch has exceeded my expectations as I have been welcomed with open arms into the most heart-centered online community I've had a chance to be a part of. I aim to create sound journeys to move to; whether it's a road trip car dance, time immersed in nature, chilling in your cozies at home, or dancing in a big open space, allowing the music to move you and fully feel whatever arises.
