Life is just a string of adventures! I hope you will join me as I share some of mine. *Disclaimer* Some will be more exciting than others... ;)
Hi! I'm Laura (friends and family call me LaLa), and I'm an adventurer! I believe that life is about exploration... of ourselves and the world around us. My husband Tom (@PapaTom99) has been my partner in most of my life's adventures. We met in the Air Force (we are both veterans) and have been married for 40 years. Carpe Diem (Latin for seize the day) is the motto I try to live my life by. I want to make the most of every day, moment, and experience... no matter how big or small. This is a variety IRL stream. We like to travel and are downsizing our lives so we can be more nomadic. Our modes of transportation could be car, boat, plane, or converted Sprinter or school bus (skoolie). We own a vintage 1982 Chris Craft Commander motor yacht, that serves to take us on water adventures, but also is outfitted for daily life. We want to do part, if not all, of America's Great Loop. It's a more expensive endeavor but we can dream and plan and see if we can make it happen. We love road trips, and camping and use a pickup truck with a shell, or a 2006 Sprinter camper van. We are working on converting a 2014 Blue Bird school bus into an RV as well. We love to take extended trips of weeks or months at a time as we can! The streams may range from travel adventures and exploration, planning and plotting our next move, DIY maintenance and improvements, or just the mundane day to day of whatever is going on where we are. We also try and toss in "Games with Chat" desktop stream once in awhile! We have a passion for physical and mental wellness, which keeps us as ready to make the most of whatever adventures come our way! I hope you will follow, and join us (and this amazing community filled with incredible people) while we work to carpe the hell out of each diem!
