**Welcome to That Squirrel Life!** *We have enjoyed the furry friends that live in our backyard for many years and thought it would be fun to share them with others. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.* *Frequent visitors are the squirrels (of course), raccoons, many types of birds and a skunk now and then.*
**Where are we located?** *In the Pacific Northwest - Oregon* **Who does this?** *Michelle & Doug* **Just how many squirrels are there?** *We have around 9-10 that are consistently around* **Who is Stevie?** *He is the Douglas squirrel that is larger than life. He is not afraid of any other squirrel and thinks all the hazelnuts are his to take. He also sounds like a squeaky toy. There appears to be a Mrs Stevie that shows up now and then and is much more mellow than Mr Stevie.* **Who is Mike Wazowski?** *She is a one eyed raccoon that likes to visit. She only has one eye that glows...so hence the name. She has even been known to just cop a squat or even take naps near the food. She seems to have made our backyard "her" place and is not very tolerant of others coming around.*
