Arcade Gaming Marathon and 1 credit High Score videos 24 hours a day. This channel is dedicated to showcasing classic arcade games. All games are played using the multiple arcade machine emulator (MAME) and replays are recorded by me for playback.
## What is this channel all about? This stream is dedicated to showcasing arcade games and 1c (one credit) high score attempts. All games are played using the Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator (MAME) and videos have been recorded by me for playback on this channel. ## Are these games being played live? These are videos of various arcade games being streamed live. This is **not** a pre-recorded stream and I shuffle the playlists regularly. There are also special event days where a single type of genre is showcased, check the streaming calendar! ## How often are more game videos added? I have been adding many more hours of game replays each week, focusing on games that are not in the current playlists. Keep checking back for new games! ## What game is currently being played? You can see the name of the game being played on the marquee of the mini-arcade on the right panel. There is also an information box that shows what year the game was released, the manufacturer, and the genre. ## How long are these replay videos? Most games average around 15-20 minutes, with some as short as 5 minutes and a few as long as ~50 minutes. You can track the current game's length on the "Game Progress Bar" on the right panel. ## When was the channel launched & why? I wanted to create a channel to showcase what some of the best arcade players can achieve on a single credit. I also wanted to watch a stream that has a large variety of arcade-only games. This channel was launched in December 2024.
## What kind of games are played here? All genres from all years of arcade games are represented on this channel. This includes classic games from the 70's & 80's and more 'modern' games from the 90's & early 2000's. I try to pick games from 'best' lists such as the "All Killer And No Filler" from the BYOAC forum. For example, + Classic Games + Beat 'em Up / Hack 'n Slash + Platformers + Shoot 'em Ups (SHMUP) + Sports & Driving + Puzzle Games + Run 'n Gun + Fighting Games ## Where do these replays come from? + All videos have been recorded by me + Most game INP (input) files are courtesy of the MARP community and can be downloaded at http://replay.marpirc.net/. + INP (input) files record the button and joystick presses for the emulator and can be played back using the version of the emulator that made the INP file. **INP files are not videos!** + Some of these INP files date back 20+ years and very few people have seen them! + Tracking down the exact version of the emulator used to make the INP file can be difficult, especially for older replays + While recording these videos, I have added effects such as scanlines, overlays, and other graphics enhancements so they can be played back for your enjoyment. ## Will there be more than one replay video per game? Yes, the idea is to showcase multiple playstyles or characters where applicable. I will be adding multiple replays for some games to add more variety.

I'm currently streaming using an Intel NUC 11 Enthusiast (Phantom Canyon).
