A Celebration of Obsolete Media! Join us as we explore weird & wacky VHS tapes!
Who am I
I am Joni. I live in Portland, OR. I've been making art, films, documentaries, TV, radio, music videos, etc since forever and producing live stream content for several years. I am the co-host of SmashUp Show, a program here on Twitch where my friend Craig plays live request musical mashups on a grand piano and I play with buttons. It's great, you should watch it.

Buy Adorable VHS Merch!
Show your love of VHS with pins, stickers, shirts, and more. I've put a lot of thought into these items, using scans of actual VHS sleeve artwork and stickers. Please check out the VCARCHIVES Fourthwall Shop to see the super cute stuff I've made!
Need more VHS content in your life?
YouTube is a great place to see my weirdest VHS finds. # Join us on Discord! The SmashUp Show/VCARCHIVES discord is not the most exciting place in the world but it's the best place to get reliable notifications when we go live! Join us, won't you?
What is all this?
I have 16 VCRs, a couple of record players, cassette deck, lots of art supplies, and a compulsion to collect weird, old media. Sometimes I smoosh all of these things together on a show called VHS & Chill. Sometimes I just play hours and hours of tapes. Sometimes I host VHS Watch Party, where guests join me to watch exceptionally bizarre or special VHS tapes. Sometimes my son Henri joins me to play VHS Mystery Tape Bingo, the only mother/son VHS watch-along on twitch! (As far as we know...) Sometimes my friend and fellow collector Dr RIP VHS joins me for VHS show & tell.
